About the Instructional Designer position

We are looking for a capable Instructional Designer who will design and develop our learning and practicing experiences. You will help learners in acquiring knowledge٫ skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

You should be a qualified professional with great attention to students’ needs. Good ability to understand problems and to guide people towards their goals is also required.

Instructional Designer responsibilities are:

  • Prepare engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Create instructional graphics٫ the user interface and the finished product
  • Perform instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Implement tested instructional design theories٫ practice and methods
  • Organize exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Develop supporting material or media٫ such as audio٫ video٫ simulations٫ role plays٫ games and so on
  • Prepare the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Organize project documentation and course folders

Instructional Designer requirements are:

  • 2+ years’ experience of working on in instructional design field
  • Significant experience with instructional technology٫ learning theories and instructional design models
  • Good knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
  • Strong lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Knowledge of HTML and Flash programming
  • Visual design skills with Dreamweaver٫ Photoshop or Illustrator and ability to storyboard
  • Good ability to write effective copy٫ instructional text٫ audio scripts/video scripts
  • BS or MA degree in instructional design٫ educational technology or other relevant area
